Mayor Joe Cobb and City Manager Valmarie Turner announced that Roanoke is exploring an entertainment district at the Berglund Center—complete with a possible casino.

The historic First National Bank Building at 201 S. Jefferson Street will soon transform into The Promissory Hotel.

The hotel will feature a boutique hotel, Spanish-inspired restaurant & wine bar, and a 1,000+ capacity concert hall.
